A contract lift is a lifting operation where we take full responsibility for planning, managing and executing the lift. We supply the crane, operator, lift supervisor and all documentation including a detailed lift plan prepared in accordance with BS 7121 and LOLER 1998.

This is the safest and most straightforward option for clients who need lifting carried out but don’t have the in-house expertise or appointed persons to manage the operation themselves.

• Spider crane (UNIC URW-295) with CPCS operator
• Appointed person / lifting supervisor
• Detailed lift plan to BS 7121
• Risk assessment and method statement (RAMS)
• All lifting accessories (tested & certificated)
• Crane transport and setup
• Post-lift documentation and sign-off

Contract Lift vs Crane Hire

With a standard crane hire, the client is responsible for planning and supervising the lift. With a contract lift, that responsibility sits with us. If you’re unsure which you need, a contract lift is almost always the right choice.
